"Crave" by Teresa Mummert

I was super excited when I heard that Teresa Mummert would be writing a Vampire novel; I love her writing and her male characters are usually to die for - while this is the case with Crave's male protagonist, Elijah, as well - and in this case quite literally, the novel itself unfortunately didn't quite manage to suck me in (no punk intended, I think ;-)).

I loved the general ideas of - and in - the story, and that the author took the chance to dive into a different genre than she did for the other books I had previously read by her. And I really enjoyed the love story developing throughout the novel, with all its ups and downs, because let's face it - love isn't always a walk in the park, and sometimes tragedy and danger lurk around the corner, waiting to beat you down. However, the story couldn't really... convince me. I can't say what it was, but something felt off - there were several times when I felt like I had missed out on something, despite not having skipped any chapters, or even pages or paragraphs, which is why I can only give this book a 3.5; can't wait for my next Mummert read though!

All I craved was one night to forget about the tragic murder of my brother Marcus. Elijah Malakai seemed like the perfect person to take my mind off everything my family had endured. He was a hunter and for the first time in years, I felt safe.

But Elijah had his own tragic past. As his secrets unraveled, my world was thrown into turmoil once more.

I had to decide whether or not Elijah was worth the pain his past would bring and if I was strong enough to stand by his side and fight.

Teresa Mummert grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania where she began dating her husband when they were only sixteen years old. They married at eighteen and soon moved to Louisiana as her husband began his military career. They are the proud parents of four children that they are raising in Georgia.
Teresa began writing when her husband deployed to Afghanistan as a way to cope with him being away at war. She soon became a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. Her work includes the word of mouth bestselling White Trash Trilogy which landed her a three book publishing deal with Simon & Schuster. She has also written the New York Times and USA Today bestselling novel The Note and the USA Today bestselling novel Safe Word. Other novels include Perfect Lie, Pretty Little Things, the Honor series, Rellik, The Good Girls, Something Wicked, Crave, The Death of Lila Jane, Hollow (Hollow Point #1), and the USA Today bestselling novel Sweet Nothing co-written with Jamie McGuire.
Future releases include Hellion (Hollow Point #2), Shameless, Defending Her Honor (Honor Series), Cruel, Depravity, When the Memories Fade, Weeping Willow, Paper Doll, The Deep, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, Rocked, Before I Wake, Fall to Pieces, Ash & Dust, and Victim. She also has a Middle-Grade children's novel coming out soon titled The Seeker under the pseudonym T.S. Mummert.

"After the Rain" by Renée Carlino

After the Rain by Renée Carlino has made me smile, sob, and... miss my stop.
Twice.
In retrospect, that wasn't so bad as it gave me more time to read, and at least it was on my way home from work and not to it. But back to the smiling and the shedding tears, 'cause none of you are here to hear about my public transport adventures caused by great books, are you?! (;

After the Rain is both beautifully tragic, as well as tragically beautiful. When you first pick it up, you might think you're in for a great cowboy love story, but before you know it, storm clouds start pulling in and tragedy hits Avelina, the female protagonist, harder than the first pages of the novel would have ever let you foresee. Fate shows her the pages of a book no one her age should even come close to seeing, and her heart gets shattered into so many pieces, it's easy to understand why she doesn't plan on letting anyone get close ever again.

Avelina, however, isn't the only one going through tough times in her life. Nate - who ironically is a heart surgeon - is going through heartbreak of a completely different nature, having recently lost a young patient during a routine surgery. Soon enough, he will have to learn that not all matters of the heart are fixable by science...

When their paths cross and intertwine, they both learn how important to let go when the time is right, and, on the other hand, when the time is right to hold on. Both of them get taught great lessons about life, loss, and love.
In After the Rain, Renée Carlino perfectly outlines how two broken hearts can mend one another, and how important it is to not just surround yourself with people, but to surround yourself with the right people, and to never loose focus of what matters to you.

This novel is an emotional whirlwind that will leave you breathless at the same time as it is emotionally healing; it will be patching up holes in your heart that you might not even be aware of.
Amazingly written, it will take you on a ride to remember.

"Love the Way You Lie" by Skye Warren

Having started the series with its prequel, Tough Love (Stripped 0.5), I kind of knew what to expect - or so I thought, because I ended up getting something much different than I had anticipated.
Not at all bad different, just... different.

When I started reading Love The Way You Lie, I hoped for a lot of Clara, and a lot of Giovanni.
Tough Love (you can find my review here) was written from Clara's point of view, and focused, amongst other things, on her feelings for Giovanni. Clara however only has small cameos throughout Love The Way You Lie, and her past love-interest barely gets a mention at all. After having read Tough Love, I honestly thought the blurb of Love the Way You Lie indicated that it, too, would – despite the physical differences sported by the covermodels – be from Clara's point of view...

…instead, book one in the Stripped series is written from Honor's point of view, and follows her journey of protecting herself and Clara, her little sister, from their past – including Honor's (ex-)fiancé, Byron, a corrupt cop gone mafioso, and their father, who used to be king of the mob and was planning to marry her off in order to secure his status and lifestyle.

Violence and life in their golden cage are just two of the things they mean to leave behind, but does the outside world really promise a better life?

Their deceased mother's tracks take them to the town of Tanglewood, where Clara is forced to hide out in a shabby motel room, while Honor gets herself a job as a stripper, working the pole and pleasing customers, hoping to be able to maintain a low profile while trying to make ends meet. In addition to money and a certain amount of protection, her boss promises to do some research about their mother – whose supposed cause of death Honor has long stopped to believe.

While neither of them is too fond of their new lifestyle, they seem to accept it despite all the sacrifices it forces them – and especially Honor – to make. She does her job, survival and protecting Clara the only things that matter – that is, until one dark, mysterious and very hot customer throws her off guard. Kip is interested in more than just a lapdance or a good time in one of the VIP rooms, and it doesn't take long before she finds herself drawn to him, too. Neither one of them can deny their attraction to one another, and soon enough, lust seems to no longer be the only feeling they spark in each other.

Yet, Honor can't shake the feeling that Kip is dangerous.
And Kip... Kip even tells her that if she was smart, she'd stay away from him.

Neither one of them listens to their own - or the other's - advise though, and before they know it, their past catches up with them, uncovering lies and bearing more danger and violence than either one of them had seen coming.

Was it wrong of Honor to trust Kip? Should she have listened to her intuition, and stayed away from the danger Kip was radiating? The danger, that was drawing her in? Or will Kip protect her when she needs him most? And what is Kip's connection to Byron? - Those questions will definitely get answered in Love the Way You Lie, a dark and yet cute lovestory that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page, containing both surprising elements as well as steamy scenes.

I did at times – but really only at times – have trouble with the character of Honor, because she started coming across as too naïve and young, as too much like her younger sister as she was portrayed in Tough Love. Kip on the other hand I couldn't get enough of!

I am a little disappointed that the novel didn't, at all, give away what happened to Giovanni – I really hope that he made it out alive, and that there'll be a story to tell about Clara and him – I'd really be looking forward to reading more about them! (;

I'll be patient for now though, as I am also looking forward to the release of the next installment in the series, Better When It Hurts, which is set for release on June 4th.

4/5!

A dark romance about the lies that lead us down…

I’ll do anything to get safe, even if that means working at the scariest club in town.

I’ll do anything to stay hidden, even if it means taking off my clothes for strangers.

I’ll do anything to be free. Except give him up. When he looks at me, I forget why I can’t have him. He’s beautiful and scarred. His body fits mine, filling the places where I’m hollow, rough where I am soft.

He’s the one man who wants to help me, but he has his own agenda. He has questions I can’t answer. What are you afraid of?

You.

"Stepbrother Master" by Ava Jackson
Blog Tour

Oh my... get those fans spinning, ladies (and gentlemen), because it's about to get hot in here!

Recent Stanford-graduate Emma is about to travel to Montana for her mother's fourth wedding - and to spend the last summer before her first real job on her new stepfather's ranch. Little does she know that she is not only about to meet her mother's soon-to-be, hopefully-forever, husband and a housekeeper with claws, but also her sizzling hot future stepbrother... whose roped up fun in the tack room she just happens to walk in on. While initially appalled by the scene unfolding between her stepbrother and his pet, it also makes her curious and... aroused.

Despite their instant attraction to one another, her and Ford attempt to - to a greater or lesser extent - stick to the boundaries set by being stepbrother and stepsister...

...but once their parents embark on their honeymoon, lines start to blur and panties get dropped. During their parents' time away, however, Ford learns to be interested in more than just her "peachy ass", and Emma gets to know more than just his seemingly cold façade; suddenly, it's not just about physical attraction and exploring each other's limits anymore.

It's about each other. Them. As one.

Would a relationship between stepbrother and stepsister be doomed from the start?
Or is there actual hope for them to work out, despite their parents' recent marriage? And how will they react?

With Stepbrother Master, Ava Jackson mastered (pun intended!) to write a gripping début novel, which is sure to raise the temperature in the room. While bearing elements of a dom-sub-relationship that might, at the first glance, remind you of 50 Shades of Grey, Stepbrother Master is a lot more playful and lighthearted - yet has enough tension and conflict to keep you interested in more than just its steaming moments and passionate encounters.

I hope you're ready to meet Ford Bennett - I sure wouldn't mind him taking the reins! (;

4/5

Three months.

Three months trapped on a ranch in remote Montana with my mom’s latest husband … and his dark, brooding son.

I shouldn’t care that my new stepbrother’s talent with ropes goes beyond lassoing stray cattle.

I shouldn’t care that his every look says he wants me … but he’s going to fight it to the bitter end.

I shouldn’t care that as the summer rolls on, my fascination overwhelms my better judgment and now I’m dying to call my stepbrother … Master.

I couldn't believe it. I was pinned to a hot tub wall, coming apart at the seams. My stepbrother's erection pressed against the cleft of my ass and his lips murmured sweet, filthy nothings into my ear. Who the hell was this woman I'd turned into? She lived for the pleasure humming along her nerves, sensual and completely shameless, her every move charged with eroticism. It was her who twisted in Ford's arms to unlace his swim trunks and shove her hand inside. It was her who stroked that huge, hard cock just to feel it throb in her grasp, imagining it somewhere else.

And I realized … I loved this. I felt lewd and greedy and more alive than ever before. My muscles still trembled with the aftershocks of my orgasm, but it had only whetted my appetite. I couldn't care less that Ford was my stepbrother anymore. All that mattered was the new Emma he'd brought out of me—and his willingness to satisfy her.

“More already?” he purred. “You must be pretty pent up.”

Damn right I am. I've been dying to get my hands on this massive thing since day one. The pleased, possessive note in his voice made me shudder. If it meant him talking to me like that, I wanted to let Ford master me. I wanted him to wear me out like the plaything I was.

Ava enjoys naughty things. She’s drawn to the forbidden and taboo, and writes kink that makes you think. Raised in Idaho, Ava now lives on the East Coast with her husband, and two dogs.

"Tough Love" by Skye Warren

Tough Love by Skye Warren is the prequel (0.5) to Love the Way You Lie, book one in the Stripped series. Since Tough Love is currently free on amazon, I decided to give it a go before diving into Love the Way You Lie, to see if Warren's writing was for me - and I have to say, it was a lot more captivating than I had expected, considering this prequel only contains 49 pages.

Tough Love lets us experience what it's like to live in a golden cage - and to be desperate to get out - told from the point of view of Clara, a fifteen year old Las Vegas mob-princess.

Clara has been dreaming of escaping the mob's premises for a while - but with locked doors, gates and numberless guards, that's easier said than done. Plus, there's Clara's older sister Honor, whom she'd never leave behind, and Giovanni, the young man who has her heart and whom she has been sneaking around with, although they're both painfully aware that they could never be with each other.

In the mob, it's all about power and rank - so it doesn't come as much of a surprise when Honor is supposed to get married to someone who will ensure her father's presence amongst the high ranking faces, even if that means not only being with a man she has no feelings for, but being with a man who is bad for her - in the most violent, abusive ways. When Clara discover's just how bad Honor's situation is, she prompts her sister to run away - with her and Giovanni. And then Clara herself gets cornered by a friend of her sister's fiancé, and Giovanni has to step in before things get too dire. He then provides Clara and Honor with what they'll need to get away - a car, cash, and a distraction for the guards... but will Clara and Honor really make it? Will they get away - will they get out, alive? Where will their journey take them? And what about Giovanni - will Clara ever see him again?

That part of the story is not Tough Love's to tell - it ends on a cliffhanger, which definitely has gotten me interested in Love the Way You Lie.
It's already waiting for me on my kindle. (;

I really liked that the whole story is told from Clara's point of view - it makes it very easy to put yourself in her shoes, and to sympathize with her. It's a very easy read and the style of writing makes it believable that the story is a fifteen-year-old's.
Overall, I'd say it's a great read - you should, however, not plan on reading this as a stand-alone; despite not having read Love the Way You Lie myself yet, I might even recommend reading this prequel after having read book one in the series - that might make it an even easier and more enjoyable read, as it would probably put a different perspective on the happenings of Tough Love.
4/5

A story about the sacrifices we make for love...

I sneak out of my room every night. My father's guards don't see me. My sister doesn't see me.

No one sees me, except him

He's the son of a mafia foot soldier. My father is the boss. I shouldn't even know Giovanni. And I definitely shouldn't kiss him. Our relationship is doomed to fail, but that won't stop me from trying.

Not every girl wants to be a princess. I just want to be free.

"HATE F*@K (part two)"
by Ainsley Booth

In my review of HATE F*@K (part one), I described the book as "hot, sizzling, somewhat mysterious, scandalous, fully enthralling and an absolute page-turner" - and part two in The Horus Group Series definitely doesn't disappoint either! If anything, it is even hotter, more sizzling, about the same level of mysterious and scandalous, and just as enthralling and as much of a page-turner!
I just couldn't put it down - it was another sleepless night, thanks to Cole Parker... not that I'd mind.
At all. (;

Part two starts off where part one had left us hanging - with Hailey Reid trying to figure out if she was nothing but a quick-fuck-alibi for Cole Parker. Things, however, aren't as easy as one-two-three - Cole is stuck working a case for The Horus Group, protecting a client and trying to solve a murder, while Hailey is trying her best not to care and to ignore her much too evident feelings for Cole.
They don't belong in each other's lives - and they're both painfully aware of it...

...but as John Lennon once said, or sang, "life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans" - so of course, no matter how much they both try, neither one of them can banish the other from their mind. All thoughts keep leading them back to one another - but is it just physical attraction?

Or is there actually more to it?

Maybe even... a lot more?

Let me just put it like this:
One of them will be ready to admit their true feelings for the other a lot sooner than the other one is willing to let down their guard.
I'd be willing to bet your money'd be on the wrong person... and that you'll be falling in love with them right along with them.

Hate Fuck: part two is a really great and incredibly hot read - and I thoroughly enjoyed how many glimpses we got at the other Horus Group members in this installment of the series. They're like a twisted band of brothers, and I'd really like to hang out with all of them!
The book is, however, way too short (pout)! With just about 102 pages (according to amazon), it passes as fast as a novella, but holds as much of a story as a big book would. It will just feel way too short, because it will, just like book one in the series, have you wanting a lot more of Hailey and Cole, and... OH MY GOD. THE CLIFFHANGER! I almost forgot to mention the cliffhanger! (Okay, I admit, I didn't actually really almost forget... but... THE CLIFFHANGER!) If you thought the cliffhanger in part one was bad, wait until you get to the cliffhanger in the end of part two! (Don't you dare to skip to the end of the book just to read the cliffhanger... do yourself a favor and first enjoy all the Cole you get before that!) - The good news is, Hate Fuck: part three is only about a month away.

5/5
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Then it's business as usual.

Cole:
I screwed up, but I can fix this.

Hailey:
This can't be fixed.

Part two of a three book serial about a bad-ass alpha male and the curvy woman he can't give up.

Ranting Review: "50 Shades of Grey" - The Movie

Those of you who have been following my blog for the past weeks might remember that my Mom had gotten us tickets to see the Fifty Shades of Grey movie in Mannheim, Germany (original version though, of course! No translations and dubbings for me, thank you!). And those of you who follow me on instagram might have already heard read that I abso-freakin'-lutely loved the movie!

While I would have loved to slap the girls sitting next to me for not being able to shut the F up about the way Ana/Dakota shaves/does not shave (seriously, do you have to talk through the whole movie?! And how much of the book(s) have you read?!), I really enjoyed the movie anyways, thought it was beautifully done and couldn't help but wonder just why the media as well as people on facebook have been throwing so many rotten tomatoes at it. Some of them without even having watched the movie, I might add.

While having at first been a bit reluctant about the cast, I personally think they have done a great job bringing the movie to life - Dakota and Jamie just nailed it, don't you agree?!
No pun intended... I think. (;

"That movie is boring" - Nope.

"There's not enough graphic stuff. Not enough naked. You don't even see a nipple!" - Uh... hello?! How many times during the movie have you blinked? And just how long did you keep your eyes closed each time? I saw plenty of nipple. I saw her nipples. I saw his nipples. I. Saw. Nipples. I also saw pubes (oh, hey, this goes out to the girls who were sitting next to me: YOU SAW THEM TOO, DIDN'T YOU? That's why you kept talking about shaving, no?). And there was butt. And other things. And there was sex - you want more, more detailed sex? Go watch porn. (;

"That stupid movie euphemizes domestic violence and abuse and makes it seem totally okay!" - Phew. Okay. Let's see... yes, there's whips and belts and twitching palms. And I certaily don't want to step on anyone's toes. But... everything in that movie was consensual. Again... have you read the book? Yes? No? Doesn't matter, though. Not really.

"Are you saying it's her own fault he beats her?" - Uhm... even with the belt, she asked for it. Yes, it was too rough for her. And yes, she ended up not liking it, and maybe she only didn't use the safe-word because she wanted to please him. But she wanted to see what it would be like, if she could handle it, and she did stand up for herself and leave. There was no euphemizing. She didn't like it, she said no, she left. You don't want to be in the same position? - Easy. Do not ask your partner to whip out his belt and give you six on the rear.

Yes. I am aware that abusive relationships and domestic violence are real.
Very real.
And don't get me wrong - I like that the movie has been bringing people's attention to the matter - has them sharing hotlines and websites that can help people. That is a wonderful thing!
But I, however, cannot agree with people slaughtering the movie for what it is. Especially because it. is. a. movie. And the books. are. books.  No one has been telling people to boycott The Lion King because Mufasa dies. Or Bambi because of Bambi's family-history (yes, I am referring to the murder in the beginning of the movie). You either like the books, or you don't. You either like the movie, or you don't. But please do not hate on people who do not agree with your opinion - no matter which that might be. Smile and politely decline if someone asks you to go see the movie with them if you are not interested - but don't judge the movie without having seen it - it might not even be half as bad as you make it out to be (;

"Snow Flakes" by K.E. Taylor

Fast, funny, flirty, sexy, witty, and just the right amount of serious - K.E. Taylor has done it again, and all you'll want to do once you're done with this novella is to pack your bags and go on tour with the band.

Are any of them accepting applications for bffs or girlfriends?
I volunteer, K.E. Taylor, I volunteer!!!

Snow Flakes - A Burnt Ashes Novella - takes us back to the days before the band was as big and successful as in Burnt Ashes. It grants us a closer look at the characters and shows us more of Braden, Mackayla's twin brother, whom we got curious about but unfortunately never really got to meet in the novel, due to his death prior to the happenings of Burnt Ashes. Not only does Snow Flakes however give us a glimpse of the band in its early stages, it also beautifully conveys just how close-knit its members are. They aren't just in a band together, aren't just best buddies... they are so much more than that - they are family that will stick together and up for each other no matter what.

Despite this being "only" a novella, each character gets a chapter (or two), and the reader gets to experience what's unfolding through the respective character's eyes, which add a lot of depth and allows the reader to emotionally connect to every part of the story.

I am giving Snow Flakes a 4.5 out of 5.
Burnt Ashes and Snow Flakes were really promising reads, and I am sure that Taylor's next novels will be filled with just as much awesomeness, which will most likely have them end up amongst my top reads of the year!

"Finding Cinderella" by Colleen Hoover

Can I just say how much I love this book? Not just this book, but the whole series?!

Finding Cinderella is a novella by Colleen Hoover and part of a series that contains two novels, Hopeless and Losing Hope. Finding Cinderella had been published as a free e-book, before its fanbase petitioned to have actual paperbacks printed - voluntarily paying for something they had previously legally been getting for free online. If that doesn't show you just how awesome this book is... I don't know what will.

Finding Cinderella is what started it all for me - the story that made me fall for Colleen's writing and her characters.
It's no all-beer-and-skittles rainbow-pooping-unicorns fairytale. And no one looses a shoe. But it is the closest thing to a believable modern-day real-life fairytale you could imagine. It's a hearfelt romance that will have you wanting to dive (back) into the character's lifes - which you are obviously more than welcome to do by reading Hopeless and/or Losing Hope.

Every day at school, Daniel spends fifth period in the maintenance closet because they forgot to assign him a class. Usually he just turns off the lights and takes a nap, relaxes before his next classes, but one day, everything changes. A girl - his Cinderella - literally falls onto him...

Daniel hates them all.
Cinderella hates them all.
And when Daniel and Cinderella start hating them all together, they pretend loving each other - or so they think.

Daniel and Cinderella spend fifth period together - in a dark maintenance closet. They cannot see each other, do not know each other's names - but their mutual hatred for everyone else leads them to spending the hour in love.
Under one simple, yet fatal condition: "they agree it will last only one hour, and it will be only make-believe."*
Once the hour is up, however, Cinderella rushes off and Daniel realizes that pretending might have just turned into the pretense. The time spent with her was short and anonymous, supposed to be a make-believe moment, yet she is all he will be able to think about.

He longs for her, misses her, looks for Cinderella in every girl he meets.

"I call her Cinderella because the first time I laid eyes on her, I thought she was so beautiful she couldn't be real. Girls like her were reserved for fairy tales and fantasies."
(Daniel Wesley, page 121 of Finding Cinderella)

About a year and a terrible relationship later - just when Daniel is about to give up on ever finding her - Daniel meets Six. Six, who happens to be his best friend's girlfriend's best friend. Six, who is beautiful, witty, and so his kind of girl it almost hurts. And just when he seems to like Six enough to forget about Cinderella, he realizes he doesn't really have to, because... Six is his Cinderella. Like... woah. That almost turned me into a rainbow-pooping unicorn the first time I read it. Almost. Because while Daniel is super thrilled about the girl he loves being the girl he loves (I know, right?!), Six doesn't seem quite as happy about the new-found truth, because she bears a secret that she fears will have the power to tear them apart...

Finding Cinderella is a beautiful, but unfortunately way too fast read. While you can easily read this as a stand-alone, I highly advise you to also read the rest of the series - Hopeless and/or Losing Hope, both of couse by the wonderful, one and only, Colleen Hoover. Should you choose for Finding Cinderella to be your first read of the Hopeless-series, I'd advise you to either read the ebook, or to skip the epilogue included in only the paperback version, as it hints on a big something happening in Hopeless/Losing Hope. I wouldn't read the epilogue until after having read either or both of the other books - but that's just me. Either way, the series is magic - enjoy! I know you will <3

To me, this is a 5/5 rating read!

P.S.: Dear Colleen, how about a salty balls novella/sequel? Pretty please in a pool of diet pepsi?

"Life After You" by K. E. Taylor

It's a fine line between heartache and heartbreak - and K.E. Taylor's "Life After You" has it all.

When you first pick up the book, you might think it's just another romance novel serving you a damsel in distress and a hot tatted up rockstar that might just end up saving the day - but boy are you wrong, because Taylor's novel is so much more than that! And be warned... once you're through with the book, you'll be wanting nothing more than a Charger, a piece of Mr. Dale (to hell with that, just give me all of him!), and possibly a changing room along the way...

Mackayla Smith has known both heartache and heartbreak and has had to suffer through more loss than anyone her age should ever have to. Having lost her twin brother, the only remaining family she had, she decides to leave life as she knows it behind, looking for an escape - for a fresh start.

But what if it all keeps leading her back home?
Home is where the heart is, they say.

And Kayla's, hers is with rockstar Logan Dale - her best childhood friend, and member of Burnt
Ashes, the band her brother had been part of. Logan Dale, who might just happen to have made a promise to never touch her, to never let himself have her.

Promises get broken, and hearts get mended - just to get ripped apart again when happiness seems in reach. "Lifer After You" is an emotional rollercoaster, that you just don't want to quit - once you've let yourself get lost in between the pages, you won't want to put the book down, because it has it all:
A hot and steamy romance, that will have you craving more. Characters that aren't "stuck", but that develop. Tattooed rockstars - I mean, hello, do I really need to say more?! - with unique characters, that will have you wanting to tour with them. And... an end that will leave you wanting to beg K.E. Taylor to hurry up with the next book in the series!

"Life After You" is K.E. Taylor's debut novel and the first book in the Burnt Ashes series, published in November 2014. Just once month later, Taylor published "Snow Flakes", a Burnt Ashes novella, and book two in the series is set to be published later this year.
