"One More Minute with You"
by Sierra Hill

One More Minute with You by Sierra Hill is sporting an amazing cover, that just screams "hot rockstar-romance ahead!". The story follows Remy and Kenzie, both of whom have troubled pasts that haunt them in one way or another.

Kenzie Daniels, who has escaped an abusive relationship and is hiding both from her asshole ex-boyfriend as well as her ignorant father, is trying to start over in Nashville - the place where she hopes her dreams of pursuing a musical career will come true. But life in Nashville isn't all beer and skittles either, and she realizes just how tough life away from everything she knows can be - until she meets Remy Martins, songwriter, producer and recording engineer. Remy is a good-looking and slightly struggling artist, who just happens to find Kenzie to be his muse. He is determined to make her a permanent part of his life, but Kenzie's past and her inability to trust blindly hinder her from just letting go and entering a relationship with him. A journey of back-and-forths, up-and-downs, flirtatious banter and hot sex (and phew... if I say hot, I mean hot!) begins, and just as their relationship turns into so much more than simply undeniable physical need for each other, their troubled pasts collide.

"Can Kenzie rely on Remy to be there when she needs him the most?
Will both their dark pasts ruin their chances at a bright future?"

One More Minute With You is a stand-alone rockstar romance, with just enough bumps to keep you interested in the relationship between Remy and Kenzie. Both of them are easy-to-like -or even love- characters, and I really enjoyed all the character development both of them go through througout the novel. It is an enthralling storyline, that can be recommended to anyone who likes some darkness mixed in with their rockstar romance read.
While the character development definitely was the novel's strong suit, its format unfortunately was rather disappointing. The story is told from a third person point of view, which I actually tend to prefer over the first-person narrator. In this case, however, the third person point of view is limited, not omniscient, and varying between Remy's and Kenzie's side of the story. This does not happen by chapter, but, at times, seemingly randomly, which makes the novel's format a little bit chaotic - and exhausting. I personally think the story could have been a little better developed; if it was simply for the characters and the ideas, I'd love to give this read a five-star-rating. As it is, however, I will be going with 3.5/5, and am nonetheless looking forward to Sierra Hill's next novel!

"Sierra Hill is a huge alternative music fan and attends as many live concerts as often as possible - even going on the road when her favorite band, Pearl Jam, is on tour. She frequently indulges on what some might consider to be an unhealthy dose of reading, dark chocolate and too much coffee.

Sierra resides in the Seattle area with her husband of nearly twenty years and her crazy, but loveable, rescued German shepherd, Tova. She is currently working on her next book."
